  2. Thanks for the update, Bill. So relieved to hear that your girlie is improving and will be coming home tomorrow! Keeping the good thoughts and prayers flowing.
  3. That's an odd place to pull a muscle. Your vet will probably want to do an x-ray and/or a needle aspiration of the lump. Hoping it's nothing serious.
  4. I hope she has a quiet and comfortable night. Much better for her to be home. Sending more prayers...
  5. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Godspeed, precious Tessie...

  7. Welcome to GT from SoCal. Yep, you've been bitten by the gh bug. Lovely houndies you've got there.
  8. Agree with the above posters to do a full panel tick test, including Lyme's and a blood test. Your boy is not even 6 yet! Sending lots of prayers for nothing serious.
  9. I'm sorry your boy is feeling under the weather again. Would definitely get some bloodwork done on him. Sending prayers and wishes his way.
  10. Congrats! Flower is a very pretty girl and sounds like she's doing just fine. A few more throw rugs will help her build some confidence on the slippery floors.
  11. Geez. Your poor girlie. Sending relaxing thoughts and prayers her way.
  12. Oh no. I'm so heartbroken to hear this news. Please consider joining the Circle of Grey group for additional support and advice. Burpdog is right... combine meds like an NSAID and tramadol for more effective pain control. Sending lots of prayers and light to your darling girl. Edited to fix link
  13. Yes. Do you have a greyhound savvy vet? They should be able to do manual diagnostic testing for LS. Might be time to do x-rays too, to rule out osteo. Definitely take your boy into the vet. Sending lots of prayers and light...

  19. Hopefully he's now snoozing on his bed inside. I usually loop a towel under the tuck to help support a wobbly hound.

  21. How heartbreaking. I'm sorry he didn't have lots more time in his loving forever home. Run free, sweet Rocky...
  22. What an excellent update! Isn't it incredible how adaptable these hounds can be? Glad to hear your sweet girl is happy and active.
  23. It's frustrating to see a senior hound go downhill and not be able to stop it. At least she's eating well for you and is calm right now. When Phoenix had rear leg weakness, Pred helped her during the first bout and she got back to almost "normal" for her. However, her second episode didn't respond and I couldn't put a 16 yr. old hound through more diagnostics, knowing we wouldn't do surgery. Holding your precious Jazz in my prayers and sending hugs to you.
