I'm so sorry. Your mention of his last time in the yard is exactly what our Miss Jackie did too. She walked around for a long time like she was taking everything in one last time. I don't believe she was sad, just saying farewell. Sending prayers for your heart to heal.

I don't know how long this has been going on, but I'll tell you about our first greyhound Jimmy. When the cold weather came and we first turned the heat on for the season, he would drink huge amounts of water and consequently have accidents. This happened every year for the last few years we had him. The air was too dry I suppose. As the cold weather continued he would acclimate, but every year in the fall this would happen several times before he adjusted. Just a thought......I think it's good you've had the other tests run. Hope you are able to get to the bottom of it soon.

What a beautiful boy and a special one too! Thank you for telling us about him and sharing his pictures. It reminded me a little of when you told us about Erin and how she was set in her ways and didn't take any crap from anybody. I had to smile when I thought of that. Here's a link to a topic started by Dr. Feeman dealing with blood values. Hope this helps. My vet's lab reference ranges for BUN/Creatinine are up to 25 on the BUN and creatinine up to 1.6. You might ask your vet what the reference ranges are but it doesn't sound like the numbers you posted are abnormal. Link to Blood Values
