  1. Please see the new information in the Sports Medicine Symposium thread. Anyone who wants only the 11 pages related to TBDs, I can copy those, staple & mail. $3 should cover it. Paypal Burpdog@msn.com or snail mail a check.
  2. In the photos I picked up of Solomon, were some of Magic. Seems fitting somehow. Taken a day or two before she went to the bridge.

    Greyless...

I am so sorry to hear I hope Biscuit is running like the wind with Magic & all the other kids and that your bridge angels will send a very special grey to you soon.
  4. Happy Birthday sweet boy! Get all my kids together & have a big party
  5. Thank you ALL for your kind words, sympathy & encouragement. I have read every post and you have helped. Regarding donations in Magic's memory: I feel it only right that I suggest the organization where she came from, Heart of Texas. Were it not for Cheryl & Scott's insistance that she not be pts when her owner died, I would have not had this special girl in my life for a little over a year. Cheryl & Scott knew Magic for several years and I am thankful they entrusted her to me for her remaining time. It is so amazing that such a small physical being can leave such a huge hole in the household. Makes me realize how big her spirit is.

    The Legacy

Magic taught me that no matter how old and frail you are, you can contribute to someone's life. You can bring them laughter and smiles. You can help them survive many trials. You can teach them patience Thank you, little cookie girl, for the laughter, smiles & fortitude. You got me through a tough year! you very much.
  7. Midnight Impish 7/25/88 ~ 12/23/04 Lure Coursing Field Champion AKC - one 3 pt major, 8 RWB An all around Champion in my heart A grand old gal who made me laugh and smile every day. There is a huge hole in my heart. I'm sure she was met by her mother who preceded her in death. I hope we can have adjoining back yards with a swinging gate so she can visit me often when I get there. After she took her last breath, I looked at her and was stunned. She looked absolutely beautiful! A confirmation that it was time. I wish that fact made it easier. Knowing that I will see her again makes it bearable. Run like the wind sweet girl.
  8. The Irish greys I have heard about have been wonderful pets! It is indeed a shame they are treated so badly. Regardless of where mistreaters are, in the States, Spain, Ireland or somewhere else, they will pay for what they have done or are doing to any creature, animal or human, one way or another. What goes around, comes around. May God have no mercy on their souls!
  9. It was my understanding you should not give doxy IV! From the erlichiosis page:
  10. I'm so sorry to hear I, for one, would love to hear everything about him if you want to share
  11. I'm sorry to hear about your loss It's very hard. Last year was strange timing as both SieSie & Shadow were ready to go to the bridge on the same day. Probably the hardest I've ever done. Heart & Austin were there to comfort me and Rob Roy came soon after. Run as fast as you can and get two What a wonderful holiday (or anytime really) present I've sent 9 to the bridge since 1998 and I can tell you it does not get easier. A few years after getting my first Great Dane, I found her litter brother had cancer (I think--it was a terminal problem). I was devestated. I remember the breeder and my friend saying "No it's not fair. You must take the bad with the good." I cannot imagine my life without dogs or without a grey! I cannot imagine never loving again. All it takes for me is to look into the eyes of a grey waiting for their forever home.......
  12. Sending my sympathy He's such a handsome dude!
  13. I find it interesting that seizures are one of the symptoms of erlichiosis!
