I find myself referring to how much Magic taught me. All of the bridge kids taught me something--for some reason she has placed a heavy paw print in my heart and mind. Perhaps she taught me many lessons in the area I need teaching most -- patience I find myself watching my current kids and trying to listen to them and to be patient while waiting for the answer. Her birthday was July 25th. What fun we had at her 16th party last year! I saw a cute little tux girl in the office last Saturday. How I wanted to take her home! Magic -- quite a grand old dame:

She was able to go to the bridge with love. It is the greatest gift we can give. Doesn't matter if they are with us 2 days, 2 years or many more years. I can just see Magic & Dottie discussing lots of life issues there (they have 32+ years of experience between them) and running a race They all leave a heart hole when they go to the other side. Thank goodness there is another that will come along to fill it up.
