  7. I believe how the urine is concentrated. The specific gravity is the same as other dogs. Many things can contribute to a one time test--drinking lots of water before going etc. Usually don't worry about a one time reading. Is there a UTI?

  11. When they get to that age, I treat them with antibiotics like Clavamox, just because if there is a problem. Chiropractic helps a lot. I wonder if that is why, so far (knock on wood) none of mine have had urinary incontinece. Sleep turds yes--urine no Acupuncture would help too. DES can affect platelets and you have to check every so often. PPA - the side effects can be stroke.

  13. If the hardware was removed in November, I would not let him run in a ball field yet. One little hole..... I'd build him up with a backyard Any friends with a yeard you can visit? (with padlocked gates....)
  14. Got it. He needs some pain meds -- there is no reason he can't have tramadol or morphine. He needs to be out of pain!
