    acupuncture was a huge help for my old girl, and I had Metacam to use as needed. My vet feels it is easier on their liver than most NASIDs (or is it kidneys?).

    yikes! I know anesthesia can play havoc with kidney levels, and it seems she is particularly sensitive, but I would think she would have shown more of a reaction right after surgery. I hope it is a lab error! :candle

    while heart disease isn't a *good* diagnosis, it is so much better than lung cancer! and maybe it won't even be that!

    Well, the dogs eat in seperate rooms because Fletcher's definition of "leftover" is a little too broad but I have a cat that should be called Goldilocks since he has to sample everyones dish (yes, it's the same food). Never had him stand in line though

    the purpose of the dew claw is to get caught on things so the dog can bleed allover your house I am about to leave to take the dogs to AAGI's nail trim day and let someone else do it
