  1. I think so too (crosses fingers again). Yesterday they were out all day and all was fine. They have recently seemed like they've gotten past a mark and are acting more like they know they are really HOME
  2. It's funny, they don't mind their crates still at all. We walk over to them and they get up and practically run in them. I went home for lunch and found no issues. I looked over the room and didn't see anything destroyed, chewed, etc. My husband got home before me and said there was no whining, just wagging tails when he walked in. So far so good.
  3. Well, we left the hounds out for an hour and a half last night while we went out to dinner. We confined them to one room where they can lay on their beds, or the couch if they want. Came home and all was well. They both greeted us at the gate, tails wagging. No whining. We have been crating them while we are gone up to this point. Today we left them out when we left for work. We both come home for lunch, so they will be out for about 3 hours by themselves. I'm hoping all goes well.
  4. Congrats! She's beautiful! Thank you for adopting another hound
  5. Sorry for this news. I know it's not what you wanted.... I hope you have some great time left with Molly. I like the idea of bacon and fries for her
  6. I don't understand why people think it's ok to dump something on someone else's property!!!!!!! Glad you found a quick solution and SO GLAD Fintan is ok!
  7. Yeah I second this. Wow, I can tell you right now my husband would go ballistic on the neighbor if this happened to us. I shutter just thinking about it. One thing you do not do is mess with our furry kids. I'm glad Fintan is doing better... this is always scary stuff!
  8. Yikes! I would have called the vet also. Glad it seems to be going away.
  9. Hopefully Iker's ok. I'm am SO glad our sliding glass doors and windows all have the vertical and horizontal lines in them. It's not a guarantee, but helps them see there is a barrier there.
  10. Good point.... she's made great progress in those 5 days!
  11. I hope the checkup goes well today. I'm sure your bandaging is fine
  12. Exactly! I like updates when someone's beloved hound is sick or had surgery.
  13. That is good news. Hang in there both of you.
  14. Well Sidney got his sutures out this morning.... all things considered, his leg looks pretty good. There's a small red spot, but that will fade with time. He has been so good the past few weeks! We never had to muzzle him, he just left his leg alone. Such a good boy
  15. Still sending positive vibes your way. Glad it went well.
  16. Good vibes coming your way! Good luck! I hope everything goes well.
  17. Good news- Sidney (and June LOL) went to the vet last night to have his bandage removed. His leg looks awesome! One more week and the sutures come out! Just in time.. they have a play date coming up
  18. Well I looked up June and Sidney: June raced at 60lbs while Sidney was at 69lbs. So June is now 10lbs heavier and Sidney is 5. Both to me look very healthy.
  19. I'm thinking he might have to be for a bit... which stinks. They like being "set loose" in the yard.
  20. Well, day 2 and Sidney is doing awesome... too awesome. We are trying to discourage him from running around when we let them out! He hasn't tried to chew his bandage at all. Such a good boy. At least act like you are injured!!!!!!!
