  1. Gorgeous dogs. My bridge boy, Major Turn, had the kennel name of Turner. My DH always called him that.
  2. I just had June Bug tested again as she is over weight and doesn't eat that much. They did a panel and sent it to Michigan and it came back normal. I was almost wishing that thyroid was the problem because it is so easy to correct with one pill a day. My first grey, K.C., had a bald butt and had a definite thyroid problem. It was funny to see the hair start to grow. It came in as fuzz. But, again, one pill a day and she was fine. It never hurts to have the test. I think the panel they did for Michigan was $125 if I remember correctly.

  12. Denise, I'll be following your Journal for Flippy and praying that the chemo works and that it doesn't make her too sick.
  13. I'm anxious to hear what the vet says. Not all lumps are a problem. Let's hope this one isn't.

  19. Hope you hear something soon. It's so hard to wait. Give Flippy and a kiss (and, one for Frank, too.)
  20. My Skorch has deformed toes. He was almost eight when I got him. He has one toe that sticks out really far and it is skinny and has lots of ridges. He has some toes that have no nails at all, one grows straight up, and he has others that look funny and are very thick. He had a hanging toe nail not long ago. It was bleeding and I took him to the vet right away. The vet just pulled it off and then charged me for an office visit....I felt silly. I try to keep Skorch's nails as short as possible, but even when cut, they still look long. The vet said the only way he could get them down to where they should be would be to put him under -- if he had a dental or something else like that. Actually, he has nice looking teeth, so I don't think that's going to happen. The good thing is that Petsmart doesn't charge me to clip his nails. I pay full price for the girls, but they don't charge me for Skorch.
  21. I'm anxious to hear what OSU has to say and what the treatment will be. Hang in there and give Flippy an extra Burpdog biscuit. I'm sure you have some in the freezer.
  22. Thinking about you and Flippy.... It's been quite a year for you, Denise. Hope this is good news.
