I am sorry. Can you bring her home this afternoon? I had a spook -- my Major Turn. He was terrified of a bird chirping or a frog croaking. He used to dig in and get very low and pull me with all of his might to get back in the house. It took a while for him to turn around, but he turned into a wonderful boy. Always a little leary of things, but not terrified. You'll both feel better when she gets home.

Denise, I am so sorry. You had a special journey with your girl who was loved so much. Your tribute is beautiful. Hugs to you and Steve.

Run free, Sam. You've got lots of pals waiting at the bridge. We had a black lab prior to getting our first greyhound. We got Cory when she was 5 weeks old. I miss her. They are wonderful dogs. I've always said that everyone should have one at least once in their life.

Denise, I am so sorry. Don't ever second guess yourself. Whatever decision you make is the right one. I went through this with our first grey, K.C., who had osteo. It was her front left leg and she was 12, and she did wonderfully. It's a long haul, but you are strong and so is Brooke, and the pain will go away which is the most important thing. I'll be saying prayers for both you and Brooke. I wish we lived closer. You need all the support you can get and that is why this board is so important in times like this. Will be waiting for hopeful news on Monday evening. God Bless.

Hi Sue....I just saw this post. It's so nice to hear the stories about your babies. And, yes, Panda is a love. Such a good doggie at the Gala. Hope to continue to hear stories about your puppies. I used to see you occasionally at the Geneva Lakes Adoption Center -- I miss those days of just stopping by and talking with Betty. There was always something going on and something to talk about --- yes, our greyhounds.

What a good boy he was at the Gala. How nice that everyone gets along -- and especially that he gets along with your "sweet little girl, Passion." Hope Sparks likes him too!

I'll be anxious to hear what the vet says.

Denise, you need a laptop to take to the vet's? Then you can give us minute by minute updates. It's hard to wait til you get home to find out how she is doing. I hope she had a good night and is eating even better today.
