  1. I'm trying to catch up with Ember - things have been so crazy at my house! So, you were able to get some venison??? Yee-haw! And she ate! Oh, my! I can hardly see through the tears! You just made my week! Go, baby, go! Tom, I'm so stoked! Love, love, LOVE the webcam! She looks so peaceful! Oh, Ember, you are just so beautiful!
  2. OMG! I just saw this! I am so sorry! Sending loads of prayers across the pond and chanting "Penny-will-get-better-Penny-will-get-better-Penny-will-get-better"!
  3. Oh, what a precious boy! The girls and I will keep him in our prayers. Hugs to you and your family as you make this difficult journey. Let the sun keep him warm and pain free.
  4. Oh, that's wonderful news! Good job, Pepper!
  5. Well, of COURSE you made the right decision ! Let's get on with gettin' on. Hugs to you both!
  6. Hey, will you pick up a Big Mac and some fries for me while you're there? Can I come and eat at your house? Come on, Ember! Let's you and I hop in the car and go to Mickey D's! The one near my house gives out hands full of dog cookies, too! And tomorrow maybe we can get a couple of regular roast beefs at Arby's! Yee-haw! Ember, us girls have to stick together! Keep eatin' honey, OK?
  7. Tom, if you can get it, you might consider venison. I have never had a dog refuse venison stew. With all this support, I would imagine that when Ember does start eating, she's going to wonder why it took you so long to get the message! Please let us know when you get that first burp of contentment! Hugs and prayers for you and Ember. Hang in there - both of you!
  8. Keeping Ember on the top of the prayer list. Hope the pain meds work! Here's hoping she gets "the munchies" when the meds kick in!
  9. Oh I am just now seeing this thread! Poor Clementine! She has been through so much! Poor Lora! I am so sorry! Yes, PLEASE let this be the beginning of the healing! Come on, Clementine! You can do it sweet baby girl! You have all of GT rooting for you! Sending lots of prayers that she can go home - SOON!
  10. Happy B-day little man! Sounds like you're on the mend and getting your spunk back! Getting in and out of the car all by your own big-bad-self! Whoo-Hoo! Way to go, Eclipse! From our house to yours - prayers, hugs and lots of healing white light to Eclipse and those who love him!
  11. I will hold you both in my heart until she is out of surgery and safe at home with you. Hugs and prayers are yours for as long as it takes.
  12. Oh, Riley! Please hold on to some food, Big Guy, OK? Prayers, hugs and lots of white light going your way.
  13. I am so sorry! Run like the wind, Brooke! I am praying for you, Denise.
  14. I am so sorry. I pray for a med that works this time! Hugs and prayers to you and your darling girl.
  15. Like I said before, I think Ember knows exactly what she wants/doesn't want. She wants Dad all to herself and she doesn't want to be "messed with". Aaww! What a couple of cutie pies!
  16. A special tribute to a special boy. I am so sorry. Run like the wind, Elvis and keep Casino by your side.
  17. I am so sorry for your loss. Run like the wind George!
  18. Ember knew she needed to be home with you, Tom, and she wasn't going to be happy until she got there! She looks fantastic even if she is in a little bit of a drug induced haze. White light, prayers and healing thoughts from our home to yours. :hope Please Great Healer of all living things - we need a survivor!
  19. We will keep a candle burning for you and Brooke. :candle
  20. I would say that Sierra is sending a message - loud and clear! "I'm feeling MUCH better!" Just let the meds do their job honey, and that nasty Histo will be HISTOry! Yeah! Hugs to you and Sierra!
  21. Prayers and hugs. We are so very sorry!
  22. Yeehaw for Zippy! You go, girl! Prayers, hugs and white light for Zippy and her Mom. Just rest now baby girl and heal.
  23. Thanks for the input! Yes, I believe that she is getting more exercise now than before - she is walked a 3 or 4 times a day now as compared to being left alone all day and some nights in her previous home (the reason that she was re-homed). She's black, so it's almost impossible to get a photo that would be an adequate visual representation of her condition but right now she looks more like the "healthy" photo of Jack. (He's a cutie!) I will just keep an eye on her and run her by the Vet to get a weight just to be sure that her weight loss is still on the gradual side. I didn't give the stress of being re-homed enough merit in this whole mix. She's a really good girl, but I know that she's still not totally comfortable with us yet. It's getting better every day - at least she stopped crying when I go out in the attached garage to empty the garbage or throw a load of clothes in the wash!
