Oh, sweetie! That's one of our major worries in the O.R. with human patients. I never dreamed dogs could respond to anesthesia with malignant hyperthermia You might want to ask the vet about one thing, though, just for your peace of mind ... with people, if we know they are prone to MH, we can pre-medicate and change the anesthetic agents used, which means that in case of a need for emergency surgery, it can be done. That might be true for dogs as well I'm so very sorry this happened! All for a toe Miss Jennifer
