My pack started their 2nd round of drontal for their hookworm last night. We will be bringing in their 2nd sample tomorrow morning. This morning Beau and Teddy (my chow hound) did not want to eat ANY breakfast and when they were on their walk, Beau had explosive diarrhea. Could that be from the meds or could there be something else going on? His poop had been liquid, but got better over the course of the 2 weeks. Not perfect, but better. He always has very soft poop.

My Teddy is 4.5 and has been having acupunture since before his 4th BD. He has cpmpression on his disks and it has been much better since we started. We also have him on many natural supplements for joints.

How brave of both of you. Prayers for a quick recovery.

I am devastated for you to hear this. I have no words of comfort. All we can do is pray for a mircale (and they do happen) and be there for you. As far as HPV goes, yes, it's possible that an HPV virus that lead to cervical cancer, but it's more rare than not and it's also possible to get cervical cancer without a trace of HPV. The corona virus can be the common cold or AIDS. It all sux.

My Polli came to me off the farm at 8.5 years old. Out of the blue she developed a limp that was so bad she reminded me of IGOR of young frankenstein. It was bad. I had a full series of x-rays done and nothing showed up. We were all baffled. 6 weeks of minimizing her activity had her back to crazy, silly Polli. For Polli- this time all she needed was time. Keep in mind if it got worse after the x-rays, it could mean that with all the manipulation they did to get the pictures they wanted, they had to bend and twist him in ways that would make the spot more sensitive. That's exactly what happened to Polli. She was in worse shape after the x-rays. Limit his activity, keep a mental note of when and if it seems better and worse. I know how frustratiing this is. I have a 4 year old that we have no answers for yet either.

Teddy has had (and still does) disk issues for the past year. He is only 4.5. We immediately switched from Martingale to a harness so we would not pull on his neck area and I don't know if acupuncture is an option for your boy but it really helped Teddy. We also have him on a disk supplement, glucosomine, msm, vit. c, and other goodies from greyhound gang. Hoping for a fast and uneventful recovery. If acupuncture is an option, please check into it. It really made a difference and now Teddy doesn't have to go every week. We are on maintinence.

Her teeth are OK, She already had a 2nd dental within a year.
