Hope recently had hind end weakness and I too feared LS and it still could be but she has done wonderfully on Deramaxx (anti inflammatory). She takes only a very low dose. Maybe pain is diminishing his appetite.

I reccommended canned Jack Mackeral mixed with with their kibble to a friend whose grey had osteo and no appetite...she said it worked wonders.

Both of my girls blew their coats when I switched to a better for them food (California Natural Lamb & Rice). I was worried cause I thought this food might not work out because of all the shedding but then FINALLY it stopped and their coats look wonderful.
