  1. From what I recall $60 for 2 views. Only charged for readable xrays. For example it could take 3 tries to get 2 readable views. Patient charged $60 for 2 views. Usually patients had their home vet office perform the xrays at the request of the specialist and the patient then takes the xrays with them to the specialist appoint.

  4. No never heard of Aveeno, but it makes sense. Wiping paws off after being outside between soaks may help to and of course an antihistamine (if you are interested in using meds).
  5. Hopefully you can find a good painkiller to help Bodie and you get through this. Smokey was diagnosed with osteo at 14 and lived a good pain free 4 months taking Piroxicam (Feldene). I don't see this medication mentioned at all here but maybe you could ask your dr. about it. He took Pepcid daily with it for gi upset. It is inexpensive about $15 for a month supply at the human pharmacy.

  8. I have used a flosser on Hope's teeth....she didn't care for it but boy it really got the in between junk Zoe had that look like...No way lady! What is that thing? Get away from me with that!!!

  17. Sometimes putting Vicks Vapor Rub around (NOT on the sutures) will deter them from licking.
  18. Cefpodoxime is an oral antibiotic.
