Houndtime
We've lost two greyhounds to hemangiosarcoma of the spleen. It's nice to read that possible help is available. Both of the dogs bled out so fast, I don't think we would have been able to save them. Though, one had signs of bruising for at least a week before and we never realized or could have known what it was. With the second, as soon as I saw the bruising I knew, and it was too late. Thanks for sharing. greysmom
I read this a couple weeks ago. Fantastic news! It's nice to see some progress in beating this hideous disease in any way. XTRAWLD
That's some promising good news. A similar strain (not in the organs) took my Kasey. sobesmom
I lost my Sobe to Hemangio. In my research I learned that there wasn't much medical research going on for it because it's not a human Cancer. I'm glad someone's working on it. Many of us have lost dogs far too young to this. Sobe was only 8.
