kudzu Posted September 21, 2014 Share Posted September 21, 2014 Have only lost one to osteo, the one I would have voted least likely to be hit by it. Salsa, the humble little lurcher, came to us under emergency circumstances and never found another home. She was a senior dog who had never figured out she was old. She behaved much more like her Aussie side of the family & seemed to have tapped into the fountain of eternal youth. It was such a shock when she suddenly developed a pathological fracture at 15 yo.
