I have really enjoyed being a part of this greyt forum for a few months now and wanted to formally introduce myself and our greyhound, Telly! We adopted Telly a little over a year ago from the wonderful folks at GPA Central Florida. She was a return and we fell in love with her the moment we laid eyes on her! My husband and I have had IG's for over 10 years and had always considered bringing a greyhound into our family with the "iggies", and the timing was just right as we moved into a bit of a larger home with some nice fenced yard space. It took her awhile to feel completely comfortable in her new home, we worked through some separation anxiety in the beginning (we ditched the crate very early on!) but little by little her personality started shining through and she continues to surprise us with her quirks and antics...we love it!! Even the little hounds have adapted well to having a BIG sister around! She is very laid back, loves to sleep in every morning (she groans when we say to her "time to get up!" ) Her favorite hobbies include car rides, visiting any local fast food drive through , exploring the neighbourhood and digging into any available stuffie that may be in her sights!! I'm so glad I found this forum, it has been a source of valuable tips, advice, laughter and the comradery on here is wonderful! ~Joy Next I will attempt to attach some photos, per the !!
