Greys4Us
Our group took in Jack (a ten year old male) and Baby (an eleven year old female) when another group got overwhelmed with returns. Both dogs were turned in together by their adopter because of a divorce. They are both the most wonderful dogs! But they are going in for dentals today and it is certain that Baby will lose all of her teeth and Jack may end up with a few left. Our vet told us that Baby has the worst looking mouth that she has ever seen in a dog. Jack's mouth isn't that much better. Both dogs were three years behind on vet care but they have had senior blood panels and all necessary vet work done. Blood panels came out OK except that Jack is now being treated for lyme disease and Baby has a yeast infection in both ears. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers today that they come through this ordeal and get well. Once their bad teeth are out and all goes OK, they should really start enjoying life and we pray that they will find a wonderful home together as they are definitely bonded. Here's Jack: Baby:
