Guest luluaz Posted June 24, 2009 Share Posted June 24, 2009 (edited) I am posting this for my friends, Jeffery, Marilyn and JD Dytrt BV has gone to the bridge, but he leaves a HUGE shadow here in Phoenix, AZ., as he was one of the biggest, most beautiful tiger-brindle boys I have ever seen! My family first met BV when we were contacted by a member of our group, AAGI, as a potential dog-sitter for a family relocating to Phoenix from the Seattle area. The Dytrt's were transitioning to a condo in the east valley of Phoenix and obviously that just would not do for an extra-large, senior ALPHA boy! I agreed to take BV into my home, with the idea that Jeffrey would find work within a month or two, well....... the job market here was already cooling and close to four months later, BV was established as the resident "Drill Seargent" of the Bissell household He was a great big lover, let me tell you- He would come over to me and stand nearly chest high, doing the proverbial lean-to, very verbal and equally protective of all the dogs. I had this big, red Ernie stuffie that he quickly adopted as his own and he was such a sight careening around our in-ground pool, doing his usual "patrol", with that huge Ernie gripped tight!
