The vet rang me a little while ago, and I'm relieved to report she's found very little so far. His prostrate is normal, she was going to have more in-depth look at x-rays, but first indications are that everything is OK. At least there aren't masses, tumours etc. showing up. The only thing she'd found so far were some little polyps just inside his bottom, but she said that these are usually benign, and these look to be. So she was carrying on with his dental, I'll do a fuller update when I've got him home, which should be around tea-time.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and support, we really appreciate it. It's so good to know your GT family are here for you when you need them.

Well I'm pleased to report that he's doing fine, it was nothing worse than the polyps. Which she said just need keeping an eye on, as sometimes they can become infected, but if they do it should just be straightforward antibiotics to solve it. He's also had two teeth out. So now he's resting comfortably, after just having polished off a bowl of rice and scrambled egg, and two bowls of milk. Considering he didn't come round until 3pm I think he's doing pretty well. He even jumped in the car by himself at 6pm. I was just getting him in position to lift him in, when up he jumped!

Jack was hysterical when we got home, he went up to Joey, looked at him with huge bug eyes, and then shot off into the bedroom. It was almost as if he was saying " There ain't no way you're taking me where he's been, I don't want to come home lookin' like a zombie" :lol

Thanks again for all your well wishes, they're much appreciated :)
