Guest crazy4greys
I took Tucker to the vet today as he has been losing weight again. Last time this happened was in October. I changed his food and he did great until about a month ago. The vet weighed him and he only weighs 64#s. He should be 75#'s They drew blood and are running a CBC, Major Chem. Profile and a T4 to check his thyroid. If they don't find anything, then they want to scope him. PatricksMom
Good thoughts for you and Tucker. Patrick was loosing weight, I couldn't figure out why, turned out his food maker had changed the formula and apparently it's lower calorie now so he needs more. Any chance that's the cause? (I know, a long shot.) Quote Beth, Petey (8 September 2018- ), and Faith (22 March 2019). Guest LindsaySF
Hopefully it is something minor like a food intolerance. Has he been having any diarrhea or anything lately? Do they think his bacterial thing came back? I would Panacur him, just in case. Feel better soon Tucker!

Guest SoulsMom
Well, when Soul has weirdness going on with his gut, the first step was the ultrasound. To have look to see if they could notice anything that would warrent further investigation. The only thing notable was a slight thickening of the wall of his small intestines. . . . My vet is all about the least invasive as possible. Since all looked ok on his ultrasound the next step was to scope him. But even after his relapse in January it hasn't been necessary yet.
