I finally just draped the wash cloth over the bite and just let it lay there for a while. What about standing him in a bathtub of hot/warm water. He wouldn't have to bear weight on that leg as long as he'll let you hold the abscessed part under..... He's stepping on the foot now which before he wouldn't even attempt. The upper part of his leg is not as swollen and I think I can see his toes again so we're headed in the right direction. Man, who would have thought a tiny spider could cause so much trouble!
