Please let us know when his lymph nodes come back down. I'll be very worried about Soul until I hear. edited for a typo. He has pretty good teeth, so I'm going to go with the insect bite theory. . . . . I'm still waiting for Tufts to call me back so I can schedule his ultrasound. Guest Cris_M Posted November 10, 2008 Share Posted November 10, 2008 Probably (hope, hope, hope) an infection. What you can do is to use a warm wet compress and hold it over the lymph nodes. That expands the vessels and allows the nodes to drain. I like this easy compress: Take one zip lock baggie and put a wet paper towel in it. Heat in microwave -- leave the top open so it won't explode. Close the bag and cover with a damp washcloth. It's cheap and you can use it over and over. Soul might even like it. He does have a lump in his armpit, but that is where most of the SubQ fluid pooled . . . .
