He managed to get a staple out of his ear - but I do not think it warrants a trip to the vet. He is on Cephalexin 500 mg twice a day for 10 days and Deramaxx 50 mg once a day til tomorrow. Of course, it doesn't take away that fear. Sometimes an altercation can seem so random. When we had Nick and Buster, they got along great all the time, but once tore into each other because they were both eyeing an empty yogurt container! And they never had another fight after that. I hope it's smooth sailing at your house from now on! Baby Gus got his stitches out the same day - they must be on the same healing plan - I have to post updated pix of him later but I think your guy definitely got it worse than our guy - amazing how quickly they heal.
