Guest Hannah Posted July 9, 2008 Share Posted July 9, 2008 Madam Fluffy has gone to join her sister Mono at the bridge. she has been dribbly and drooly for a few weeks and we have had her on antibiotics which seemed to be helping but yesterday afternoon she decided she wasnt interested in food and did not want her breakfast this morning, not even a spoon of yoghurt (normally she will demand more and more). Had a chat to the vet this morning and took in this evening. we checked her blood work and it was all OK (kidneys values were going but not gone) but she had a large lump in her throat that had not been there a few weeks ago when she started dribbling. after discussion we decided to let her go. I held her and she purred as she went. he checked the lump afterwards and reported back it was some variety of sarquinoma (pls excuse spelling) on her tonsils. Goodbye sweet fluff puss you were not quite 18 years old and have been living with us for 10 years. we have survived house moves, puppies, kittens, arthritis, hyperthyroidism and diabetes (including a hypoglacemic coma when you decided to go into remission ) I shall miss you love mum xx Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
