Although we knew what was coming and arranged for the vet to come to us at home to cause the least stress to Pippin (who was excellent at the scream of death over the smallest hint of entering the vets surgery ), it was and is dreadfully sad to loose such a sweet, loving girl; the dog who first got us addicted to greyhounds and greyhoundlike lurchers in the first place. And inspite of having four other dogs including one grey who takes up lots of room, our home seems empty, and Pips favorite place on the sofa is a giant hole for us all. At least she is out of pain and went whilst some of her Pippinness remained .... here is a picture taken of her cuddling with Jess my collie (also 14 ) heres hoping she is having fun running around ten too the dozen which she hasn't been able to do here for what seems like so long beccaxx Edited June 27, 2008 by becca97 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

We also lost our 14 year old grey in April so I know what you are feeling. May all the wonderful memories of your time with Pippin heal your heartache. Thom (brother) and bodger (terrier) are really missing her so much all made worse cause we have three more 14yr olds.
