Guest MZH Posted March 6, 2008 Share Posted March 6, 2008 Cullen had a fabulous recovery from his hemangio surgery on 2/6 and we had a glorious 3 weeks of "almost normal." On Feb 27 he was well. On Feb 28 he was deathly ill. We discovered after several tests and IV support, abx etc, that the hemangio had spread to his lungs. The turnaround in his health was breathtakingly fast. We gave him his wings on Sunday. He was pleasant and loving right to the end. We were very blessed to have had him in our lives for 9 years and 11 months. We thought we'd have him maybe three more months, not three more weeks. What matters is that we had a very special boy who gave us love and fun during his entire lifetime. Godspeed buddy. You probably had no idea how many people loved you -- but then, you loved everyone, so I guess being loved that much makes sense.
