Guest argolola Posted July 8, 2007 Share Posted July 8, 2007 (edited) Hi GTers, Lola is finally having surgery on Wednesday 7/11. We have to have her to Gainesville at the UF small animal hospital at 7:30. If the bloodwork is fine, they will start surgery to remove a large tumor/cyst from under her eyelid. My husband wasn't at the consult appointment, so he is like, "does she really have to have the surgery?" He doesn't want her to go through anesthesia. Also, she has a heart murmur. Our regular vet said someone in Jacksonville can do cryosurgery, but the tumors often return, plus they would still give her twilight anesthesia. We appreciate your prayers and good thoughts for Lola as she goes through surgery and anesthesia. I'm kinda nervous too, just because I love her so much.
