He was severely dehydrated and underweight, infested with fleas and ear mites, and had an ear and eye infection. He was with us for less than two weeks, but was getting so much better. He was gaining weight and became very rambunctious. I came home last night, walked through the door, and Tamara came down the hall with a limp Frankie in her mouth. I've been crying pretty much ever since. I should have known a 2 year old greyhound would want to chase him. We called the adoption group last night and told them to come get her, but after thinking about it, I couldn't bear to lose two pets in one day. We've decided to keep Tamara and watch her closely with our three adult cats. I think Frankie's small size and constant movement did him in...I don't believe Tamara was being mean, there was no blood so I think she just picked him up and broke his little neck.
