Feel free to look at my DP's blog for more info about her. Jeff's Blog about Azalea We are both very happy to have a new family member with us. She is a real sweetheart, and seems to have brightened Dowland's life a bit too. (He's our very first grey and will be 12 in June.) I will post pix as we get them taken. Guest bowiebears Posted April 5, 2007 Share Posted April 5, 2007 She is indeed a gorgeous girl, and has settled in very nicely. She arrived at 12N on Tuesday. By 4PM she and Dowland were napping together on the 'poofs' in the living room, his shoulder wedged up against her haunches. By 8PM she was roaching. We had terrible T-storms that night and she found her way from her bed into my walk-in closet (her bed is under an outside window) for the rest of the night. I'm so happy that she found her forever home!!!! :pepper Thanks. Well before I'd thought we'd be losing our Arlo, I saw her on teh GPA-MD website, and her story grabbed my heart too! If I were given to magical thinking, I might worry that I'd somehow willed Arlo's disease so we could take in Azalea, but I know that's not the case. She is indeed beautiful and very friendly. She and our almost 12 y/o semi-brindled red boy Dowland are getting along very well. They went zooming in the back yard this evening...and they both had a great time of it.
