Guest nina_niro Posted August 28, 2005 Share Posted August 28, 2005 Nina, born Moynevilla Star in Ierland on 9 Sept 1994 and exported to a life of hell on earth in Spain, has left us after 5.5 years to go on her final journey to “The Rainbow Bridge” Nina my darling girl, I will never forget you. When I saw you for the first time in Mechelen, you licked my hand before you very gently took the offered biscuit, you had adopted me. You were so afraid of everything , but above all, men. But you put your trust in me and slowly but surely conquered your fears. You were the Matriach in the house, and you put everybody in their place and even showed people the door when you thought that they had outstayed their visit. But old age and the cruelty you suffered in Spain began to take their toll during the past year, and we saw how you lost weight, how your arthritis worsened and finally how the cancer finally depleted your remaining strength. Sadly this was a race you couldn’t win. I will miss the Thank you kisses I got every evening after your meal and our goodnight hugs before we went to sleep. Your soft, loving and understanding eyes My shadow, whenever you were off your lead Although you are no longer physically with us, you will always live on in my heart. I will see you again one day when I join you on the other side of “the Bridge” and I will be able to hug you again then as we did here on earth. Sleep softly my lovely girl, safe and without fear.
