I use a big stainless steel bucket that I fill 3/4 full. Still "tall" enough and less spillage.

I had the honor of meeting Linda several times, mostly picking up broken-legged dogs off I-95. She was a greyt lady and a real advocate for the dogs. She will be missed tremendously. RIP

I think it could be the kibble too. Pepper used to vomit bile periodically in the morning when she was on Nutro. I too thought that it was an empty stomach. Several years ago I switched everybody to Holistic Select Anchovy Sardine and Salmon and the vomiting stopped completely. I do not think that it was a coincidence.

One of our dogs is a very strong chewer and we got these supposedly indestructible stuffies at Orvis:Link Don't try these if your pup is an avid chewer. Pepper destroyed them in short order. I don't know if truly indestructible stuffed squeaky toys exist.

I guess to me he looks small next to your girls. Also he sort of looks like he has already grown into his paws; can't say the same about the earsies. He looks to be the size of my longdog Smokey who is a grey/whippet mix and looks like a shrunken down greyhound. As the time we adopted him as a puppy, a stray picked up in Birmingham and likely bred by travelers, the rescue warned us that they did not know how big he would grow. Gotta laugh, he is 40 lbs soaking wet at 5 years old. Ted does have the cute almond eyes but I have seen greys that have that look.

That is a tough one. If she is doing ok with the TheraPaw and will bear weight on it, part of me thinks that I would just continue with that protocol. I can think of one person whose dog needs to wear the TheraPaw on her back paw when she is walking on hard surfaces. She is fine on grass and carpet. They don't consider it a big deal and just use the bootie for her and she does fine with it. My ex racer had a back toe amputated while he was still racing because it kept dislocating but it was non-weight bearing and that was before I adopted him.

Welcome back! He must be Beanie on the group's website and what a cutie. He looks little to be all greyhound at six months. They sure have a stunning group of dogs available for adoption. I see they adopt to Belgium as well.

I looked at the intro and the OP started the thread in January 2009 and has not been back since late June, according to the profile, unless i am missing something.

My dogs are never without their tag collars. I think that only having the microchip is not ideal because it means they would have to be scanned to id the dog. If you crate, use a breakaway collar with an id so that there is not a chance the dog would be hurt if the collar got caught.

Yes, take him to the e-vet. edited to add: Bites are very dirty and also, they may be deeper than they seem. He should get antibiotics too. If you wait too long to sew up a wound, it likely can't be done. I would DEFINITELY take my dog to the e-vet.
