Our Big Man Has Gone

Our Percy (June 16, 1996 - June 24, 2005) left us this morning, after a short but valiant fight with cancer. Percy is being missed by all of us, but he will always be in our hearts.

I had never met a greyhound until I met my boy, and I fell in love with a very special breed.

Our big Angel was only 9 years old, and had been with us for 4.5 happy years.

Dr Sandi came to the house this morning to help him go, and she was such a great comfort to all of us.

Percy's ashes will be spread at his favourite place, the Dog Park, and a plaque will be mounted on our newly constructed Memorial Wall. So I will be with him whenever I am at the park.

God Speed my Angel.
