  1. What a beautiful letter of love to your boy. I'm so sorry he's gone but what a wonderful sign he sent you.
  2. Yes I realize that. What I'm asking is if there are long term effects post treatment that the new adopter needs to be aware of. This dog is a bounce and she has very little information other than what I mentioned in the original post.
  3. She was treated up here in the frozen North . So she won't have been reinfected.
  4. A friend has recently adopted a 6 year old girl who was very ill with babesia 2 years ago - lethargy; anorexia & weight loss; difficulty breathing; "internal bleeding". She was treated with 2 injections of Imizol. She is now seemingly very healthy and happy. (and very sweet ) Can this disease reoccur? Does she need to watch for anything in particular? Does she need followup bloodwork of any kind? Anthing she needs to know? Thank you all in advance.
  5. Bless you poor aching heart. I'm so sorry. Your boy isn't hurting now. He has a lot of friends to play with at the bridge healthy again.

  7. What a love. Congratulations.
  8. I can't count the number of times I woke up to the sound of plastic pieces hitting the floor as Jack upchukked - after Jill came home. He was a perfect angel before Luckily he has never suffered any adverse effects. I suspect Teagan will be just fine too.
  9. How heartbreaking. I was so afraid last night reading your words. Goodnight dearest Dear. I'm so sorry Hilda. Your beautiful boy will be so missed. Run and play healthy and whole again sweetheart.
  10. I believe it was the foster that was being checked for the thyroid problem not Tiger. Fingers crossed that Tiger's problem is as simple as a UTI!
  11. What a beautiful poem on this anniversery.
  12. Can you call Pepperjack's vet telling them your problem and asking if they might have an idea who they might recommend closer to you?
  13. Welcome. Your pups are beautiful. I love your foster. He is a sweetie.
  14. Staples are not hard to remove but much easier with the right tools. You don't want to risk tearing that nice new beautiful skin
  15. Yes this is what I tried to say earlier. Clearly far less eloquently than you just did.
  16. She's lovely. in fact she looks just like my Jilly. Congratulations and welcome.
  17. ALL medication has the potential to cause adverse side effects. Not all dogs or people will experience side effects or will experience serious side effects. It is always essential to weigh the potential risks to benefits of all drug therapy. NSAIDS are an extremely useful group of medications but they do have risks and occasionally serious ones in both humans and dogs. It is always important to be informed users - to neither use or avoid the drugs thoughtlessly. I am so glad you were on top of things with your baby and he is doing so much better now
  18. I'm so sorry. You're free and well again sweet girl. Rest well and look out for your mom who loves you and misses you.
