    Deuce

Run fast and free with your sisters at the bridge, Deuce. I am certain, that because of brave dogs like you, Dr Cuoto is much closer to finding a cure for this nasty disease.
  2. Can't wait until you are able to post that Henry has been 37 MONTHS seizure free.
  3. Sirocco has been well-controlled with prednisolone and cyclosporine in corn oil drops for several years now. (one drop of each twice a day.) It took some time (and a couple steroid injections directly into the eye) to get his under control. His opthamologist said his case was typical, for a german shepherd. Good Luck!
  4. I am sorry for your loss. I hope you and your mom soon find some peace and comfort in your memories of Rocco.
  5. Starting the "it's just the prednisone" chant. Tell Roo she needs to get better QUICK! With winter approaching, GT needs it 'wonderful wedder dog'.
  6. Continuous hugs and prayers for your brave little fighter.

  8. Picking up on the "pain-free, infection-free, metastasis-free, fast-healing" chant.
  9. Prayers for your boy and some super-collossal-humongous-big hugs for you.
  10. Misty: Sirocco herez. I thinkz that all the hounds on gt otta have sum ice cream tonights to showz our support for your feetsies. Hopes youz feels better soon.
  11. Sirocco has had pannus for several years. We don't use sunglasses for him (he would find a way to eat them) and his pannus is still very well controlled. Check with the opthamologist to see if they are needed.
  12. Shelby: I am glad to hear that Dr. Sheff is taking care of Deuce. Especially since this problem WILL NOT be cancer. Please keep us updated. Also, call anytime if you need anything.
  13. Nikki had the same problem after her dental 2 years ago. A week later, we noticed what looked to be an abrasion. It quickly became large and deep. The vet said that some of the medicine during the anesthesia leaked into the surrounding tissue when the iv catheter was being removed. This caused the surrounding tissue to die and slough off. We had to take her to the vet for daily to twice weekly dressing changes with a special high-sugar dressing. When the dead tissue was gone, she needed the leg sutured back together. Dr Sheff said that this was only the second time in 20 years he has seen this happen. He also said that I would not be paying a penny for the treatment. It was his fault the medicine leaked and therefore his responsibility to treat it.
  14. Hoping you soon find peace and comfort in your memories of Chorney. She was a beautiful girl.
  15. Lots of hugs and prayers from across the pond.
  16. No words, but lots of hugs and prayers headed your way.
  17. Starting the "clean-margin, pain-free, infection-free and fast-healing" chant for your boy.
