    :lol Yes, I'm a she (or a sheila?? :) )

     

    I'm currently in Dewey Beach, Delaware, at one of the biggest greyhound events in the country (if not the biggest). I mentioned your muzzles to a group of folks in our booth today, as a matter of fact, and there was great interest. I can't wait to get home and try them on my gang. VERY reasonably priced, too, even with shipping all the way around the planet!

    Zali Broke Her Toe

    Brilly had the same toe break, we splinted, he got sores, they were talking amputation ... we stopped the splinting on our own after something like 8 weeks. He still has scars from the sores, and his toe sticks up just a tad, but apparently causes him absolutely no functional problems or pain. It's a tough call, but if I had another pup break a toe, I think I'd just keep him/her more or less calm for several weeks, and just let it heal (assuming it wasn't really out of place, I suppose).

    Oh, how miserable!! Poor thing! It's bad enough without having to lie in her own pee! That'll start to really burn soon, too. Hopefully you shook them into attention about that!

     

    Your girl (and YOU) is (are) and will stay in my thoughts. (Man, that turned out to be a messy sentence! :P ) Remembering if it comes to that, that a 3 legged dog is a living dog, and so often a happy dog!
