Oh, lasers are my new thing! Brilly had a nasty bite on his throat (naughty Pogo!), which was cleaned up with a laser and sewn up in tiny stitches, and it was trouble-free, and is almost invisible, now. As I understand it, the laser causes much less bruising and damage than even a really sharp scalpel, and cauterizes as it goes, for minimal trauma and scar tissue.

Happy is also dealing with long, drawn-out, and totally mysterious tummy issues (kept us awake most of last night), so I feel your pain! I hope you find something that works for poor Beau!

I really caught my breath and started crying when I read he'd crossed, but there's a sense of comfort in the love you still feel, the connection and memories that will stay with you. You two are a special pair.

When she's less inclined to eat, is it usually in the morning? That seems to be fairly common. I wonder if we shouldn't stress so much about morning feedings, and just work on it later in the day? Just a thought. It seems like I read that a lot: wouldn't it her/his breakfast, but ate something later. My Happy does that, too, when she's on hunger strike.
