  2. Oh wow...I am just catching up with this thread. Glynis was generous and offered a pet portrait on Diane's auction for GAN. I was lucky enough to win it and have been working with Glynis on getting her some pics of my boy Bounty....I can't wait to see what she creates.... I had no idea what all she had been thru with Winslow! He sounds like an amazing dog!
  3. Oh...she looks right at home already!! Cody is cat curious too. Doesn't want to eat them but is fascinated with them. Funniest think I have ever seen. Congrats to everyone!!
  4. Barbie Jean!! Sending many prayers that it is nothing serious. Completely understand being concerned. Too many sad things around here lately. Give that crazy boy a kiss from me and his girlfriend Mollie!!
  5. Twas months before Christmas But all through GT Evil Elves were posting And squirming with glee Taunting and teasing and shopping with care for the just the right package to send over there The questions were flowing With frenzy and haste Christmas is coming There’s no time to waste! So Gracie my sweetheart Who is so far away, Your santa is listening What do you have to say? How do you play? What do you eat? I know you are beautiful But have you been sweet? Are you a Diva? Or a tough sort of girl? Are crystals your preference? Or rather a pearl? Do you like frogs? Better than fish? How long is your tail? When you walk does it swish? How ‘bout your Momma With her Quackity Quack Does she have a favorite color? Or very best snack? Does she prefer stripes, Or spots or plaid? What makes her happy? What makes her mad? Give me some info Or I will just guess And often that leads To a terrible mess!!!! Lotsa Love - Santy Clause
  6. What a nice pictorial tribute!! for you and Kevin....
  7. Oh Aimee.... That is beautiful....she was lucky to have two families to love her in her life!!
  8. If you feel that way, that there isn't a difference, then please choose the room. The kitchen floor and the garage floor both have to be cleaned in the same way, right? Low 70's in the daytime is not going to last long at all, and nighttime is much cooler. She did say that the garage is heated.
  9. Oh Aimee.... My heart is just breaking for you...no one should have to lose two so close together... Many, many hugs to you my friend....
  10. for Marla!! Hope things continue getting better so her momma doesn't have to be crisis girl!
  11. That is so frustrating.... I have a friend here who has had good luck with the acupuncture thing for getting the appetite back for her 14 year old girl.
  12. Jennifer, Many thoughts and prayers with you tonight... I hope he finds Bounty and Rascal.....
  13. Oh no AImee.... I was hoping she was improving while we were gone.... Many :grouphugs to you.....
  14. OMG....I am so sorry.....
  15. No her breathing seems fine to me, only a little faster than normal. And she doesn't cough. If I didn't have xrays, I'd still wonder if the non-appetite is just behavioral. There are still virtually no other symptoms. That is a good sign....hopefully whatever it is, it isn't in her lungs.
  16. Oh no Aimee.... I am so sorry they didn't have better news.....Has her breathing gotten a lot worse? Is she coughing a lot? No words of wisdom...just lots of hugs....
  17. Hugs to you in a difficult time.... I would love to see you in Dewey...that being said I know you will do what is right for you and him...I am sure that is a HUGE PITA to figure out right now!! Sending you lots of strength....
  18. Aimee..... I would suggest trying another kibble and seeing if that makes a difference.
  19. I went through Lymphoma with Rascal. We did chemo and it bought us 15 months. He was not a nervous dog so going to the vet was never an issue for us. The treatment is a pretty quick and easy thing but I don't know if you could get someone to come out to your car or house to administor the drugs. In my area there was only one oncologist for dogs. And she was very busy. If you think your dog can handle the vets the side effects were minimal and IMO very worth it. to you
  20. Wow...you plate is way too full for one person! I was successful in treating Rascal with chemo for Lymphoma. His symptoms were a bit different though. It was in his spleen and that was the most noticeable thing it effected. I am sure it was other places but not as obvious. I hope you have some options for Lacey Laine.
  21. Oh I am so sorry.... Praying for better news....
