I'm sorry Linda I was told the same thing about Sparks back in Feb. He's not taking any meds though. We don't do walks but he does love running in his new yard.

Lucky is such a doll He went up to my mom last night for some lovin' and she was thrilled He cracks me up in the morning with his jumping around. S&P aren't morning pups so they think he's nuts

Sparky woke me up at 2am so I took everyone out to potty. (my mom said he puked earlier so I thought maybe he had an upset tummy) When I got back in bed, Sparks laid next to me and I noticed his breathing was off. It was like 1 breath was 4 breaths and I could feel it making his body quiver with each breath (hard to describe). Not sure how long this lasted (10-15 mins) but it finally stopped and he was breathing normal. any idea what this is? should I be concerned?

Caroline I am so sorry to read this and my heart is breaking for you, Faith, MIL and DH. I am glad that MIL was with her when she went to the bridge so at lesat she wasn't alone.

Here's a small world story My vet just returned from a land/cruise tour of Alaska. They stopped at Jeff Kings place in Denali, I used to work for him years ago. So that was fun hearing about their kennel again.

He turned 10 in March

The end of May Sparks liver values were off and he was diagoised with LS The past few months he hasn't been himself and it's gotten to the point that he was snarking at every greyhound he met. He also wasn't eating well and panting more (more than Passion at least). The last week he's been eating, been his happy self and just looking like he felt better. Went back to the vet this morning for a blood test and his liver values are normal. The vet (who is AWESOME!) said he's doing just great. I did request some pain meds for him to take as needed so we'll start that if he seems to need it. I'm so glad that he's doing ok. I've been so worried about my old man.
