    Flagyl can definitely have neurological side effects. For instance, it should be used with great caution only for dogs that have seizures.

    Both of mine who are on phenobarbital take Milk Thistle. They get 175 mg. Sometimes I get it at the health food store, and sometimes I order on-line from Now Foods.

    Antibiotics won't destroy the immune system, but some of them will actually cause diarrhea. Tey kill off the good bacteria and let the bad guys run wild.
