i had it done on my own after i adopted phoenix. he also tested positive for babesia and was treated with imizol. tick disease can be pretty serious, even fatal, if left untreated.

Eva, my heart froze when I noticed that his thread in H and M was locked the other day. I am so sorry that we've all lost sweet, sweet Carrier. Shortly after I adopted Phoenix we attended our first M&G. I remember when you and Tim walked through the door with Carrier and Bailey and how you told me about Tim's trip to Kansas so they could be together again. I thought they were the most beautiful greyhounds I had even seen (besides Phene and now Loca )) and still do. He will be missed by many.

lpca sometimes misses meals or stops eating for a day or so for what appears to be no good reason. it never lasts. btw, after several years of feeling california natural i switched to Evo because they didn't seem to like the california natural as much as they had in the past.

We are indeed very fortunate to have access to him and the other people affiliated with OSU vet school. Not only were they willing to take the time to look at two sets of x-rays, they always responded in a friendly and timely manner.

i guess what's a bit scary about this is that it wasn't my vet who made the diagnosis of chondrosarcoma; it was the board certified radiologist who examined the x-rays before she sent them to Dr. Couto. i guess it's better to be safe, but it's still scary.

just heard frrom Dr. Couto re: Loca's second set of x-rays. They are... NORMAL I Thank you so much for your chants. They worked!!
