hmmm...my vet never said anything about receiving them back, though i guess she probably did. dr. couto contacted me directly via email rather than my vet. i forwarded her all communication between us. she sent them fed ex (i know because i got charged for it ) and i heard from him very quickly. i wonder if it made a difference that Loca's films were sent during the school year and that they were looked out during rounds...

the exact same thing happened to loca when she broke her toe. it took a really long time for it to heal. i had to be especially vigilant about covering her bandage with thick plastic every time we went out, not just when it was damp. after the bandage was removed, it eventually cleared up with the use of antibiotics but it took longer for her broken toe to fully heal than it did for her broken leg several years earlier. good luck! you WILL get through this.

sometimes it takes a while for a new dog to settle enough to eat. she will when she's hungry enough . she'll also get used to your other dog. btw, Lottie is beautiful!
