  9. hi patti, good to see you . i would keep checking for a "hidden" UTI. they can be really hard to diagnose sometimes. both Loca and Linus had the same symptoms as Maggie and after much digging aroud, they both had UTIs.

  15. there are many people here on GT whose dogs have had a leg amputated. i'm sure at least one of them will see this thread. from what i've read, it seems like greyhounds normally recover fairly quickly and are back to running in no time. good luck and keep us posted, ok?
