  1. You both continue to be in my thoughts.
  2. I'm so, so sorry. Darlene, you and your family are in my thoughts
  3. If she had a stroke, acupuncture may really help. Seems like she's improving, which is great.
  4. When is his appointment for the second opinion?
  5. Poor Echo! That's quite a chunk! Hope she's feeling better. Treasure is missing some ear, also. It gives her character
  6. I'm so sorry for your loss. Run free, Charley
  7. what is it about you and me and feisty brood mamas? i think we do it to ourselves
  8. wow guys, thank you so much for your good wishes. this is great! Treasure is home. She seems exhausted, which is always good. She was sent home with antibiotics and a few days worth of gastro canned food. the vet said she hadn't pooped for a while and she definitely no longer has the big D. so...SHE'S FINE thanks again
  9. you're not kidding, especially since they would be happier eating frozen poop, plastic and old carpet
  10. I really hope she had people with her this past year who understood and gently helped her move on. Kiss all the babies for us Maria..... I know her son was with her. He had sent me several emails on her behalf during the latter part of her illness.
  11. Stuff can churn around in there for months and months before it causes problems. And stomach acid seems to make soft plastic brittle. that's what the e-vet said ( )
  12. Thanks all for your good wishes. Treasure is now at her regular vet enjoying a continuation of her IV. According to the e-vet, her D isn't nearly as runny now and she only needs to go out every 45 minutes of so. I haven't spoken to her regular vet, as she wasn't yet in the office. The e-vet examined her vomit, also (gross). It appeared to be a lovely combo of black carpet (i donj't have any black carpet), hair and lots of plastic. I love Treasure
  13. just spoke to the e-vet. she said that Treasure only needs to go out every hour or so instead of every five minutes but she still has very watery poop. she's getting rehydrated and is doing much better . still has to go to her regular vet first thing in the morning.
  14. she runs the risk of developing sores if the wet bandage stays on.
  15. She has had the big D since around 2pm, which was when my dog walker called me at work. it's continued until it occurred every five minutes or so. she also vomited something that was unidentifiable with sharp, plastic objects in it, despite the fact that she is muzzled when i'm not home. anyway, she is extremely dehydrated and is receiving iv fluids. she will have blood work completed and an x-ray if needed. tomorrow morning i pick her up and take her to the regular vet for continuation of the iv. please keep her in your thoughts. she's a good girl.
  16. I received the following email now long ago. Lisa (Maximum), Diane (Burpdog) and I agreed that we should post the following: RIP, Maria. We've missed you for a long time. We hope you've been reunited with your loving hounds.
