This is absolutely, positively true. Adrianne said it perfectly. Only you can decide when the time is right, but think about going to a M&G or some other gathering and just hang around. Pet the dogs, let the feel of their coats and muscular bodies go directly to your heart. You don't even have to reveal what happened to you if you don't want to. You will know when the time is right to adopt. In the meantime, I will pray for your heavy heart and hope that your memories of Brandy will begin to comfort you and provide healing white light.

If your Vet is uncomfortable contacting Jean Dodds, I'm sure he knows that Michigan State is considered by many to be t-h-e place to go for thyroid bloodwork analysis.

There are a lot of similarities to what we have been going through with Suze both in Nadir's story and Brady's; examinations, x-rays, rest, anti-inflammatory, pain meds, salves, boots - no diagnosis. Will be watching with anticipation. FWIW: Springtime Products "Longevity" has helped tremendously. I'm the biggest skeptic in the world when it comes to supplements and their claims, but after discontinuing it three times and having the limp return three times only to have it disappear when the product was re-introduced is enough to convince me that it works for Suze. Fingers and toes crossed for Nadir.

I have no clue if the incontinence is related to the food switch, but I am a big believer in "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" philosophy. Was there a health related reason for the new food? IMHO, I would feed the miraculous Miss Penny whatever she was eating before the incontinence started and not change another thing to see what happens. Oh, and give her as many belly rubs, ear scritches and nose kisses as she can stand! That always works around our house! Still sending boat loads of prayers for her continued good health!
