    Rip Peanut...

I am so sorry. What a pretty little girl! No matter how long, it's never long enough . . .
  2. Ativan is a miracle drug for chemo patients. That is the only one that helped my son. He didn't remember a whole bunch during "those" chemo appointments. I have a picky eater here, too, and chicken quarters are the only thing that I know he will eat without being hand fed. My thoughts are with you.
  3. Our senior whippet developed a case about 8 months ago. He is raw fed and doesn't much obvious fat or skin or anything like that. We did the chicken and pasta thing (he has other issues and cannot physically eat rice) as well as using Pepcid and Flagyl. Had to go a few rounds with it before he was fine and haven't had a re-occurrence since. He continues to be fed the same way as before.
  4. What a beautiful girl. I am so sorry. You did what you felt was the best for her and not what was maybe best for you. That is the most selfless gift you could give. It is obvious by her pictures that she knows she was loved.
  5. Your tribute is so touching. I am so very sorry for your loss. Woefully inadequate words, but . . .
  6. My 12 YO whippet would hork in the morning, too. My vet suggested withholding a little dinner and feeding it to him at bedtime so there is something in his stomach during the night to keep the acid at bay or something. Instead, I feed dinner later (for us) and they get a couple of small biscuits after their last turn out. Morning bile gifts are now much rarer. Good luck!
  7. Thanks for the update. I have been thinking about you and Avery. Paws crossed here for something simple and treatable.
  8. I am so very sorry. May their memories bring them comfort.
  9. I have no direct experience. One of my cats had something similar and the vet was concerned. He palpated the mass and a piece of grass came out! He had some type of abcess and was treated with antibiotics. Paws crossed for a treatable condition!
  10. I am so very sorry for your losses. You and Mouse will be in our thoughts.
  11. Congratulations! I just love the black ones! Our first was also black and has as much interest in the 4 cats as Jack! Welcome from Maryland.
  12. I am so very sorry your baby girl had to leave. Hugs to you.
  13. I am so very sorry for your loss. That last picture is absolutely beautiful and I am sure that it captured her perfectly. May your memories bring you comfort.
  14. Congratulations! Love the name!
