Greetings from Alaska but I lived in Billings with my 3 greyhounds. I don't know what part of Billings you are in but the vet I used was Lockwood Veterinary Service, 3025 Old Hardin Rd. (406) 252-7392. It's a small clinic and they get to know you and your animals. It was a bit of of a drive for me, and there were vets closer but I feel it was worth the drive. If you go there, tell them I sent you! Let me know if you want to connect with other greyhounds & their owners.

Hello Ukalliq - sorry to hear about your pup. I have a friend that moved from Montana to Fairbanks. She brought Pomeranians up with her and also has a Husky. I will be meeting up with Robin this week.

I moved up to Anchorage last fall after my last greyhound passed away and need a greyhound fix!

While at a Kanab Greyhound Gathering (2008 I think), I took Boo Zsee & Zeeba in for this. Boo Zsee did well but Zeeba did the GSOD so I didn't have hers done. The next time was under anesthesia in 2013 and for Boo Zsee has been yearly since then. I really need to do better at brushing their teeth...

Steve - it was a shock to see Gayle's Facebook post. I am so sorry for your loss of your "one in a million" Sadie. My thoughts are with you, Gayle & Rachel. I was very lucky to have met both of your girls in Kanab.

I get a case of boneless pork shoulder from Costco. I paid $1.64/lb last time. Cheapest I can find around here.

Wendy - so sorry about Rocky having to go. You gave him a wonderful life and a beautiful tribute.

I have 4 dogs (3 greys) and 2 cats - I think they get along. Baer (schnauzer) will usually move it Tyler tries to curl up with him but sometimes he stays and somewhere I have a picture to prove it. Tyler grooming Zeeba - Zeeba was enjoying it. Sorry for the blurry photo - cell phone was only option when this was happening Tyler & Boo Zsee cuddling in front of the pellet stove and a pile-up on my bed with Baer, Tippy & Zeeba (I think those are Java's paws too).
