  1. How very sad to lose a friend from, and of, the greyhound community. My prayers are with her family.
  2. It is with great sadness that we relate the loss of the beautiful Miss Fifi, beloved and cherished hound of our friend Linda. Her journey to the Bridge today was gentle and wrapped in the love of her Mom. She was a gentle, extremely talkative and happy girl who will be dearly missed not only by Linda, but also by her friends and fellow volunteers at FoG. Our hearts and our love remain with Linda and her family. Lee and Leslie
  3. Hang in there. You know you have the thoughts and prayers of an entire greyhound community behind you. That's an abundance of faith and hope for Wilbur. L.
  4. Another hound who was loved, cherished and adored. Another hound who will be loved, cherished and adored. I'm so sorry for the loss of your precious Lily. L.

We are so sorry for your loss.
  10. Could that have been irregularly irregular heartbeat which is the hallmark discription of EKG reading of atrial fibrillation. The QRS complexes (high peaks) should be evenly spaced with a normal/equal rhythm. (Same distance between each peak. Notice that the QRS (high peaks) are not evenly spaced in the picture. That may be what your vet was inferring. Relax, If it is, it can be dealt with. Let us know what the cardiologist says
  11. I'm so sorry that Chance has been taken. It seems there are many of us who have been where you are now. My Milly broke her leg getting into the car at the vet. She never came home. Osteo had quietly creeped in with no warning to us. How could no one have noticed. Please remember that when they come into our lives, we take them into our hearts. There they live, with us and within us. And there in our hearts they stay, even when they've left us. Time has a way of mending the heart but it is Chance who will mend it from within. L.
  12. My heart hurts for you at the loss of your Mom as I watch my own as she disappears a little more each day. L.
  13. Miss Rose has been taking Proin for quite some time with no issues. I have been ordering it from KV Supply 50mg tab twice a day for a cost of appx $57.00 for a six month supply. My vet is a dream for faxing Rx to help with costs on a lot of different meds for my pups. I'm glad Lola had a good check up.
  14. I'm so glad to hear that all is well after surgery. L.
  15. Oh Tom, you were so blessed to have such a remarkable hound in your life. She will never really be gone. She's always going to be with you, guiding you through the hounds that have and will follow her into your life. She whispers in your ear every day, reminding you of the love, given and recieved, between the two of you. It is what makes your heart smile at the way she wanders through your mind in the quiet of the night and when you least expect it. There she will stay, right where she belongs... L.
  16. Smiley will remain in our thoughts and prayers for a safe surgery with skilled hands and an uneventful and speedy recovery
  17. I just love those big red boys. He sure is a beauty!
  18. I'm so sorry that you have had to say goodbye to your hearthound. He rests now, in your heart, right where he belongs. L.
