We knew something was wrong from the beginning but the vet and us thought it was just arthritus. In the 4 months we had him he was the most amazing little boy. January 24th 2003 he was walking and his leg broke just from walking, January 25th he was diagnosed with advanced osteo and we chose to send him to the bridge as there was no hope. I still "see him" every now and then. I will hear that thumping tail hitting a wall, where there is no dog sitting. I miss him everyday as no dog can ever replace him in my heart. The one thing I will never forget is the outpouring of love that went on here when this happened. over 200 posts. I still have them printed out. I will never, Ever forget it. I'm that way with my heart kitty, Priscilla, and another kitty, Bid Red. I only had Red for about six months, but in that six months, he captured my heart so quickly. I cried and cried for him when he had to be put down. Hugs to you, and I hope you feel his presence especially on his Gottcha Day, and know that he is with the One who made us all and is so happy now.
