racindog Posted July 26 Share Posted July 26 (edited) Just wanted to send special thank you's to you for sharing the wonder of Derma-Gel. That stuff is amazing. Turbo's tail had gotten so bad it was constantly raw and if you know how vertebra "dip in the middle" well thats how bad his had gotten-you could see the dip in the vertebra. Anyway thanks to you posting that link for me for the Derma- Gel! It saved Turbo's tail! His tail was a bloody mess and it appeared that like other malinois' he was going to have to have it amputated! Nothing would heal it because he kept hitting something with it and making it bleed again and again. Could not bandage either because he is an EXTREME drive mal. He can be a very hard to manage patient irritating wounds/tearing off bandages etc. Well I desperately started putting the Derma Gel on twice a day and little by little it got better and better and after about a month it was totally healed!!!!! I did wash it with warm water once a day like the directions say. I have seen and used MANY wound treatments and Derma Gel is without doubt far and away the very best. It heals better than any of the others. I also purchased some of the spray on and used that also after it had started to get better using the gel. I was so impressed with it I re-ordered a second tube and another 2 cans of it. I want to make sure I have some on hand in case I need it again and I didn't want to risk not being able to get it because of supply chain stuff etc. This stuff is truly amazing. It was so kind of you to take the time to give me that link and as a result my boy has a healthy tail again. Thank you again!
